| USA : ICA Pavilion plans to partake
at Inernational Jewellery Show in Tokyo July 29, 2005
The International Colored Gemstone Association
(ICA) will have largest-ever pavilion at the upcoming International
Jewlery Tokyo (IJT) show, to be held from January 25-28, 2006. The
pavilion will cover close to 250 square meters and include up to
30 booths for ICA members compared to 19 booths at the last IJT
show. They are very excited that ICAs presence at the
upcoming IJT show is growing. IJT has been one of the first
international trade shows to provide ICA members with their own
pavilion, and, obviously, the arrangement has been beneficial for
both sides, ICA Executive Director Barbara Lipatapanlop stated.
Visitors at IJT have come to recognize our pavilion as the
most important buyers hub for colored gemstones and the prime
source for quality goods and services. As the Japanese gem and jewelry
market is still struggling to shake itself free from the economic
slowdown, buyers need to make sure that their purchases are right
on target. Our pavilion and our participating members offer that
assurance, she added. Lipatapanlop said that other ICA members
interested in exhibiting at IJT should submit application forms
as soon a possible, as they will receive a special booth package
for the ICA Pavilion that includes several privileges such as special
ICA booth decorations, and an especially long showcase. New York
